PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") is intended to inform you of our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any information you submit to us. This includes "Personal Information," which is information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name, e- mail address, user ID number, company information, role and billing addresses and other non-public information that is associated with the foregoing.

  1. User Consent

By accessing or otherwise using our platform, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms a part of our terms of service You expressly consent to the processing of your Personal Information according to this Privacy Policy.

Your Personal Information will be processed and stored in Google Firebase Storage and governed by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”). Your Personal Information will not be used or disclosed for purposes for which you have not given consent or which are not permitted under applicable law.

  1. Collection of Information

2.1 Information that we collect during registration

  1. Email Address – This is required to create a unique account in E6 DIGITAL for you to access the account.
  2. Password – Along with your email, a password is required to authenticate and provide access to your E6 DIGITAL account. However, we do not store any passwords when you sign up or sign in using social media logins.
  3. Extended Profile – We collect your role and organization name. Providing this information helps you get more relevant templates, tailored tips to get your job done better, and over the long run, shape the features in the product that serve your needs better.

2.2 Information that we collect during payment

If you purchase any product in E6 DIGITAL, then we collect your credit card details along with other billing information (like company name and address). These are required to authorize the payment and also to generate invoices. The credit card and other payment information is not stored within E6 DIGITAL. We encrypt the information and share it with the payment gateway to process the transaction.

2.3 Information that we collect from user that didn’t sign up or sign in

We place cookies on all of E6 DIGITAL’s pages to perform web analytics with the intention of improving site experience. Visitors (who might be existing users of E6 DIGITAL) can subscribe to newsletters from our blog, download content, or unlock articles we create in collaboration with our partners by providing their contact information which includes email address and name. The collected data is used to send the requested content and/or newsletter and we do not sell this data to any third parties. In the case of unlocking content, you will be given an option to opt in to the communication coming from our partners.

  1. Use of your information by E6 DIGITAL

3.1 General

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your Personal Information with other 3rd party for revenue making. However, we may share your information with other 3rd party services for marketing, analytic, billing and support purpose.

3.2 Application Use

Personal Information collected is to provide you access, to process billing, to improve, better tailor the features, performance, and support of our platform and to offer you additional information, opportunities, promotions and functionality from us.

3.3 Marketing Use

We use data about our registered users and visitors to support communications and campaigns to promote membership, subscription, and engagement with our products and services. We do not sell your data to anyone.

3.4 Research and Feedback

We use data including qualitative feedback from registered users and public, collected via user interviews, surveys, polls or other means to conduct research and development to improve our products and services. You are not obligated to participate in these research processes and you can choose to provide your feedback in any way that is convenient to you.

3.5 Customer Support

We use your data including your usage, communications, and interactions with us to investigate, resolve and respond to any issues or complaints you have with our products or services. This data is also used for quality assurance and to improve our customer support processes.

We may disclose your Personal Information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:

  1. comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us; or
  2. to protect and defend our rights or property, you, or third parties.

Please note that your personal information may be transferred, stored and processed outside Malaysia.

We will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot however guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk and you agree not to hold us responsible for any breach of security while accessing the internet that is out of our control. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

  1. Third party Websites

Our website may contain links to other sites (the "Linked Sites"). We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of such other Linked Sites. You agree to waive any claim against us with respect to the Linked Sites.

You are accorded with rights stipulated in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and we will be abide by the provisions in PDPA.
